Thank you for your interest in West Canyon’s website! As the new principal, I am especially grateful to have the privilege of welcoming you to this site and to our school. After working with the staff here at West for just a short time, it is clear to me that individual student success—academic, social and emotional—is the heart of the matter. 

 Our school motto, “Dare to Dream…It Matters”, provides a clear focus for us; we are committed to doing whatever it takes to help students define their goals and dreams and reach their potential.

Our school standards for staff and students are: attentive listening; no put downs—show appreciation; confidentiality—no gossip; The right to pass; appropriate task completion.  These life skills are embedded in all parts of our school day.

West is part of a wonderful community, and we appreciate all of our parents and patrons. I encourage you to take some time to look through this website.
