School Report Card

As stipulated by federal law, each school is required to publish a "report card" giving specific data about the school, area demographics, teacher qualifications, parent involvement, and testing results.  Copies of this report are available at the school office or you are welcome to copy it directly from this site.  If you have any questions regarding the information contained in this report, please contact your school principal.

Choice 
Each year, all schools are required to reach goals in reading, math and language usage or graduation rate.  The results of the ISAT (tests) are used to determine whether schools are making AYP to meet the goals.  Schools that consecutively do not meet goals in a subject area are identified for school improvement.  Under the No Child Left Behind Act, parents have the option to transfer their child to another school not identified for improvement.

Cada año, a todas las escuelas se les exige lograr metas de rendimiento en la lectura, matemática, uso del lenguaje o en el índice de graduación. Los resultados de los exámenes ISAT son usados para determinar si las escuelas están realizando el progreso anual adecuado (AYP) para cumplir con las metas.  Las escuelas que consecutivamente no logran las metas en un área académica determinada, son identificadas como escuelas que necesitan mejorar.  Bajo la Ley Que Ningún Niño Se Quede Atrás, los padres tienen la opción de trasladar a sus hijos a otra escuela que no necesite mejorar.
