Text Box: George Grant
Superintendent
July 2005- Present

“Our business in life is not to get ahead of others but to get ahead of ourselves: to break our own records; to outstrip our yesterdays by our today's; to bear our trials more beautifully than we ever dreamed we could; to give as we never have given; to do our work with more force and a finer finish than ever.  This is the true idea: to get ahead of ourselves.”--Carl Holmes

George Grant was appointed as superintendent in 2005 after serving twelve years as assistant superintendent.  Prior to coming to Vallivue, George was a principal at Wilson Middle School and he also taught at Caldwell High School.

George graduated from Caldwell High School, his wife and one of his daughters graduated from Vallivue High School.   He earned his bachelors from Boise State University, his masters from Albertson College of Idaho and his education specialist in education administration from the University of Idaho.

He volunteers his time in his community and his church and is a board member of the Caldwell Kiwanis Club of America.  He has a passion for riding bicycles but the time he spends with his family, especially his grandchildren, is his greatest joy.
