Dr. Pat Charlton joined the Vallivue School District in July 2007 as the assistant superintendent and became the superintendent in 2011.  Prior to coming to Vallivue he was a high school principal for 20 years serving at American Falls High School and the award-winning Century High School.  Before entering school administration, Pat was a Spanish, English and health teacher.  Pat earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Idaho, masters at BSU, and doctorate at the U of I.  Pat believes in the power of high expectations, asking students, teachers and administrators to stretch themselves and do more than they thought they could.  He is very pleased with the outstanding academic growth that has been shown in the Vallivue School District during the past five years.
