Our new chapter will focus on multiplication facts, and what are numbers. We will be working with true/false statements, open sentences, and the usage of parentheses in a number sentence. They need to know their multiplication facts. |

|
Our new unit will be about the Native Americans that lived in Idaho. There were 7 different tribes. I hope you're enjoying working on the Indian Villages. |
| Science | Science is following our reading series this unit. This week it's all about the decomposers in nature. |

Spelling: New words came home on Friday, Oct. 23rd, test Friday, Oct. 30th. They are all antonyms.

New problem: There are seven dogs. They each have six puppies. How many dogs and puppies are there altogether? (20 auction tickets will be awarded for correct answers.) Just e-mail the answers to me.
Answer to last week's problem: What do you call a six-sided polygon? An eight sided polygon? (Hexagon and octagon)
